SolBase Tecta

Rooftop structures for metal sheet, RCC and elevated installations, with the existing roof checked before we quote.

SolBase Tecta Rooftop & shed structure
Where it fits

Application

Metal sheet roofs. Trapezoidal and standing-seam sheet on industrial sheds and warehouses. Mini-rail brackets fix to the crest with SS304 self-drilling screws or clamps; no penetration in the trough.

RCC roofs. Rail and stub systems on flat slabs, with tilt-up frames at [10–15]°. Ballast where penetration is not allowed.

Elevated. Walkable elevated frames at [2.5–3.0] m where the roof space stays in use.

FAQ

SolBase Tecta questions

Will the brackets leak?
Brackets fix to the crest of the sheet with an EPDM washer under each SS304 screw, so the water path in the trough is never pierced.
Can my shed roof take the extra weight?
We check the existing purlins for the added dead and wind load before quoting. The added load from a flush sheet-roof system is typically [12–15] kg per square metre.
Do you do RCC roofs without drilling?
Yes. A ballasted tilt-up frame is available where penetration is not permitted; ballast weight follows the wind calculation.
What tilt do you use on flat RCC roofs?
[10–15] degrees as standard, chosen for yield against row shading and wind uplift.
What about standing-seam roofs?
Seam clamps that grip the seam without any drilling.
How is it delivered?
Cut, punched and bundled per roof zone with a labelled drawing, so the crew works from the drawing without site cutting.
